Interested in the study of terrorism?

The Combating Terrorism Center, based at the United States Military Academy at West Point, contains a number of documents that would be of interest to anyone researching counter terrorism, al Qaida, bin Laden, etc.  The reports (some original documents are in Arabic but are also available in English translation) are available as PDF downloads.

Preservation Week April 23-27

Linfield Libraries are marking Preservation Week by sharing how we preserve the Linfield legacy. What is the Linfield legacy? The Linfield College Archives and Special Collections (LCA) contain materials documenting the history and activities of the College. LCA hold materials from its predecessor institutions the Baptist College at McMinnville College, and Good Samaritan School of Nursing. In addition, LCA preserve material related to American Baptist history in the Pacific Northwest, College special collection materials that are rare and fragile, and is home to the Oregon Wine History Archive. Linfield College Symposia Want You!

Submissions are now being accepted for the 20th Annual Linfield College Science Symposium and the 7th Annual Linfield College Student Collaborative Research and Creative Projects Symposium! To submit your work, follow the appropriate link and then click on Submit Event at the bottom of the left sidebar. Submissions are due by Friday, April 27, 2012. The symposia will take place on Friday, May 11, 2012 in the Avenue of Nicholson Library. For more information, contact Martha VanCleave or Meridith Symons.
