Make a Short Video to Illustrate the Value of Information Sharing

You can win $1000 when you enter the national SPARKY contest.

Nicholson Library will hold a related contest based on the same criteria as the national SPARKY contest. We will give a $100 prize to our local winner on November 17 at a mini film fest here in the library where you can premier the video you may intend to also submit to the SPARKY national contest. See Local Contest Details for our own contest.

JOIN US for an Orientation Session about both contests to learn:
* The purpose and themes relevant for SPARKY entries (which are the same for both contests)
* Information about using Linfield’s camcorders and editing tools

ORIENTATION SESSIONS:
September 9 or September 11, Nicholson Library, 9 pm

Note: The orientation sessions are optional to enter the contest(s) but mandatory if you want to use our technology to make your film. If you go it alone, be sure to read the SPARKY CRITERIA carefully so your film has a chance to win either the local or national prize(s).
